The Arrabelle at Vail Square, a RockResort is scheduled to open in winter 2007/2008.
The Resort
Inspired by the ambiance and elegance of the grand hotels of Europe, The Arrabelle at Vail Square will evoke the romantic heritage of the European Alps. Developed by the Vail Resorts Development Company, the resort will feature guest rooms, condominiums and penthouses.
Location
The Arrabelle is centrally located in Vail Square, just steps away from the Eagle Bahn Gondola.
Accommodations
The Arrabelle at Vail Square will offer 36 luxury guest rooms, each averaging 550 square feet. These rooms will also feature deluxe bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub. Fifty additional condominium lock-off rooms finished identically to the hotel rooms will also be available for purchase. In keeping with the luxuriously appointed accommodations at all RockResorts, The Arrabelle’s rooms will be decorated in a rich, well-appointed European style.
Residences/Penthouses
A residence or penthouse within The Arrabelle offers a singular opportunity to own a resort home in one of the most desirable locations at the base of Vail Mountain. Approximately 70 residences and penthouses will be offered for purchase, and the designers have taken great care to maximize the experience of living in luxury. Distinctive floor plans, stunning views, luxurious finishes and incredible hotel services /amenities have all been designed to capture the unforgettable experiences of a treasured European vacation – and make them available for every day private residential owners at The Arrabelle.
Hotel services included for owners of a residence or penthouse at The Arrabelle include: valet parking, bell service, concierge services, ski/boot storage and valet services, assigned underground parking, 24-hour front desk and security, business center, Avanyu Spa and fitness center access, rooftop pool and hot tubs, storage locker, electronic key card for building and room access, one-touch telephone access to hotel services, cable TV and wireless high-speed Internet access.
Restaurants
The Arrabelle will offer guests several dining options. Centre V, an upscale slope-side brasserie will offer fabulous indoor and terrace dining, while a café will provide a more casual alternative. In the summer months, guests can enjoy poolside beverage and snack service, while the resort’s impressive Great Room with a two-story fireplace will be perfect for pre-ski and après ski gatherings.
RockResorts Spa
The Arrabelle will feature RockResorts’ signature RockResorts Spa, as well as a fitness center. The 10,000 square foot spa will be accessible only to hotel guests, residential owners at the resort and members of The Arrabelle Alpine Club.
The RockResortsSpa will offer full spa services and will feature a dramatic water feature at the entry; private men’s and women’s elegant relaxation lounge with fireplaces; locker rooms with whirlpools and steam and dry saunas; luxurious treatment rooms that will include couple, group or family treatment rooms and wet rooms with Vichy and Swiss showers. The spa will also include a nail salon and retail space stocked with professional skin care lines, lotions, soaps, oils, books and cards.
The fitness center will feature state-of-the-art LifeFitness cardio equipment – each with a build-in flat screen TV – and single weight stations. Personalized fitness consultations will also be available.
Functions/Meetings
The resort will be located a short distance from the proposed 100,000 square foot Vail Conference Center. The Arrabelle will also have a conference center on-property with a Grand Ballroom, meeting rooms and pre-function space.

Valet underground parking, bell service, 24-hour front desk, Avanyu Spa and fitness center, concierge and ski butler services, an outdoor pool and hot tubs, gift shop, business center and high-speed Internet access.
Activities
Visitors will find activities for everyone in the Vail Valley. The Arrabelle is located only steps from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and offers guests convenient access to 5,289 acres of Vail Mountain ski/snowboard terrain. Active guests will enjoy the close proximity to hiking and biking trails, fly-fishing, gondola rides, rafting, kayaking and golf. The ground floor of the resort will also feature over 33,000 square feet of retail space, including shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.
